OK, I need some advise. I printed out the photos went to Kinkos and had thirty made. How do I make them into Postcards? The photos are on thin paper, or do I just mail them in an envelope? Any suggestions

Any suggestions When you say "thin" paper, do you mean just regular plain old white stock? If so, then I have a suggestion. ;D The post office sells pre-cut, pre-stamped postcards that are hopefully the size of the photos you printed. (And they only cost 0.26 each-- significantly less than a regular stamp! I got 25 for $7.) You could cut the photos to size and glue them to the front of the postcards. Then hand-write your addresses on the reverse side.

Confession...we haven't sent our's out yet. We went to Santa Barbara Tuesday and Wednesday and then on Thursday our beloved duck, Hogie and a new rescue from the lake were stolen from our backyard. This has consumed us ever since. Let us know if we should still send them out.

Maybe they will fly home again! You should definitely still send the Kaman postcards! You're closer to the studio than most of us anyway, so yours might still get there at the same time!

We will definitely send those out. We are getting to the realization that it might have been a coyote. They can't fly. They're domestics. It's heartbreaking either way. We did rescue three week old ducklings last week also and they are precious and help the sadness. They love watermelon and grab it out of each other's mouths. We decided to rename the ducklings Baby Hogey and Baby Huey. This is their third set of names!

My thoughts and prayers are with you. That is so sweet though that you were able to rescue the other ones, how precious.

awww that's terrible about the ducks!! I remember having pet ducks when I was a kid too, we had a pen 1/2 in and 1/2 out of the water for them. One got away at some point and then we let the other one go. One had blue feet and one had orange and their names were Quick and Quack - lmao!
And yes! I'd most defintely send the postcards out! Even if they are a bit later than the rest of them that doesn't matter at all I don't think.

Finally got the postcards out! Better late than never. The gardeners who clean the common areas came to me with a big smile. Here's your duck (in Spanish). Just the head and neck. The other two guys were kind, however. Here's Hogie Jr and Baby Huey sitting on cell phone holders.

That is not nice about the duck thing in Spanish, however your little babies are just so darn cute, oh my gosh, they are most adorable ladies. ;D
